I was very excited when EJ started wearing her baby. Here is a quick tutorial on how you can make your own baby doll sling for your little one. It is a quick and easy sewing project!

First I cut out two 6 x 44 inch pieces of cotton fabric.

With right sides together, I then sewed around the edges leaving a two inch opening so the sling could be pulled right side out. After it had been pulled out, I ironed the sling flat and sewed the opening closed. The sling was ready to be worn!


Place the sling across your child's chest, over one arm and under the other, and tie it. My favorite part of the sling is how it looks in the back. Very geisha like!
