Barefoot in the Garden

mulching the pumpkins and squash
Staying with Grandma and Grandpa for an extended period has allowed us to enjoy all the stages of Grandma's garden. As spring flowers start to fade away early summer blooms are popping up all around.

Grandma has had a steady crop of strawberries for EJ to pick and her first peas were sweet and delicious!

I don't get out as much as I'd like to help with the garden but I was able to get a little mulching in during one of CJ's naps. EJ shoveled the mulch into her own wheelbarrow and followed me around the garden raking it out. She is learning so much by helping out!
