Week 1 Menu

DaddyO and I discovered a while back that planning our meals a week ahead helped save time and bypass the inevitable "what's for dinner" question. It also ensured that the ingredients would be ready in the fridge when it was time to cook.

We sit down with a magnetized note pad that has the seven days of the week, fill in each day, find the recipes, and then go grocery shopping. The notepad is always up on the microwave for easy checking. If we come across a recipe we want try or if we crave a specific food (like Indian), we just fill it into the following week and save the recipe.

We have been doing this since before EJ was born so I thought it was about time I started to keep them digitally so I do not have to do as much planning in the future. Here it goes...
