Baker's Christmas Dozen

The smell of freshly baked cookies is such a wonderful accompaniment to a freshly cut tree. Since a batch of cookies last less than a couple days in our house (I don't know how people can save tins full) we keep the baking going.

Spritz were first on our list this year since I had all the ingredients and they are so easy. EJ learned how the press works.

But her favorite part was decorating with sprinkles.

DaddyO mixed up some delectable and gingerbread cookies using Avia's recipes.

Not her traditional  look I'm sure but the kids sure had fun decorating them.

DaddyO did a great job overseeing their gingerbread cutouts.

Can't think of a better way to enjoy the cookies than in front of the fire watching the Christmas tree.
