Atsugi Snowman

Making a snowman together was a first for our family since we have always lived in warm weather climates. When Atsugi's 2nd snowstorm brought enough snow to make one we threw on what winter clothes we had and ran outside to build our snowman.

EJ watched "Frozen" with N while in Pensacola and she/we have had "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" stuck in our heads. It only seemed fitting to use it as our building song.

We chose a spot in front of the chapel next door to the Navy Lodge for the snowman.

CJ had fun throwing snowballs while DaddyO and EJ rolled.

Then it was time for me to scavenge up some  snowman accessories.

Prunes for eyes, baby carrots for nose and mouth and of course a hat and scarf.

I know the snowman left quite an impression on the kids since every time we drove anywhere near the chapel CJ yelled "snowman, snowman" and insisted we drive by to see him.
